Opens EPUB, PDF and TXT. What other readers charge for — text-to-speech, PDF annotation, your own fonts, a home-screen shelf, fingerprint lock — is open from the start. It keeps reading with the screen off, highlighting the sentence and turning pages by itself. Annotations are stored separately and never modify your original file; there is no account and no cloud, so one backup file moves everything to a new phone. Ads fund the app, but never from the moment you open a book until you close it, nor while it reads aloud. DRM-protected books cannot be opened — books bought from a store must be read in that store’s own app.

The calendar shades each day so a month reads at a glance, and a budget is shown as what you can still spend today. No sign-in, no server. Open it, pick a photo, save — today is recorded in three taps. Each calendar cell holds that day’s photo, so a month later the calendar is full of them, and a home-screen widget shows it too. It never asks for photo permission: Android’s own picker hands over only the photo you chose. Deleted entries can be restored within 30 days, and backups go to your own Google Drive only when you ask for them. Ads fund the app, but never on the screens where you write or read.
