Galpi(이하 “이 앱”)는 사용자가 자기 기기에 가진 전자책을 읽는 앱입니다.
이 앱에는 계정이 없고, 우리가 운영하는 서버도 없습니다.
1. 우리가 수집하지 않는 것
이 앱의 개발자는 사용자의 어떤 정보도 수집하지 않습니다. 구체적으로:
- 읽고 있는 책의 내용, 파일 이름, 책 목록
- 읽던 위치, 하이라이트·메모·북마크
- 독서 시간과 기록
- 앱 설정
- 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 신원 정보
위 항목은 전부 사용자 기기 안에만 저장되며 기기를 떠나지 않습니다.
2. 기기 안에 저장되는 것

앱을 삭제하면 위 데이터도 함께 지워집니다. 사용자가 직접 만든 백업 파일은 사용자가 고른 위치에 남으며, 그 파일에는 앱 잠금 PIN이 들어 있지 않습니다.
3. 파일 접근
이 앱은 사용자가 직접 고른 폴더에만 접근합니다(Android 저장소 접근 프레임워크). 책 파일은 읽기만 하며 수정하지 않습니다. 주석과 읽던 위치는 원본 파일이 아니라 앱 데이터베이스에 따로 저장됩니다. 읽은 내용은 어디로도 전송되지 않습니다.
4. 광고
이 앱은 Google AdMob의 광고를 표시합니다. AdMob은 광고 제공을 위해 광고 ID와 대략적인 위치(IP 기준) 등을 수집할 수 있습니다. 이는 Google이 수집하는 것이며, 개발자는 그 데이터를 받지 않습니다.

- 광고 ID 재설정·삭제: 기기 설정 → Google → 광고
유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국 사용자에게는 앱을 처음 열 때 광고 개인 설정에 대한 동의를 묻습니다. 그 선택은 설정 → 광고 개인 설정에서 언제든 다시 바꿀 수 있습니다. 동의하지 않으셔도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있으며, 이 경우 광고는 개인 맞춤이 아닌 형태로 표시됩니다.
리워드 광고를 보시면 3시간 동안 광고 없이 읽을 수 있습니다. 이는 선택이며, 보지 않으셔도 앱 사용에 제한이 없습니다.
5. 네트워크 사용
이 앱이 인터넷을 쓰는 경우는 두 가지뿐입니다.
- 광고를 불러올 때 (AdMob)
- 사용자가 직접 주소를 입력한 공개 전자책 서고(OPDS)에 접속할 때. 이때 접속 대상은 사용자가 고른 서고이며 개발자의 서버가 아닙니다. HTTPS 주소만 허용합니다.
그 밖의 모든 기능(책 읽기, 음성 읽기, 주석, 백업 등)은 인터넷 없이 동작합니다.
6. 어린이
이 앱은 어린이를 주 대상으로 하지 않습니다.
7. 방침 변경
방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지의 최종 수정일을 갱신하고, 중요한 변경은 앱 안에서 알려 드립니다.

Galpi (“the app”) lets you read e-books that are already on your own device.
There are no accounts, and we run no servers.
1. What we do not collect
The developer collects no user data. Specifically, none of the following ever leaves your device:
- book contents, file names, or your library list
- reading positions, highlights, notes, bookmarks
- reading time and statistics
- app settings
- names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or any identity information
2. What is stored on your device

Uninstalling the app deletes this data. Backup files you create yourself remain where you saved them; they do not contain the app-lock PIN.
3. File access
The app accesses only the folders you choose (Android Storage Access Framework). Book files are read, never modified — annotations and positions are stored separately in the app’s own database. Nothing you read is transmitted.
4. Advertising
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob may collect an advertising ID and approximate location (from IP address). This is collected by Google; the developer does not receive it.

- Reset or delete your advertising ID: device Settings → Google → Ads
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the app asks for your advertising consent the first time you open it. You can change that choice at any time under Settings → Ad privacy settings. Declining does not restrict any feature of the app; ads will then be shown in a non-personalised form.
Watching a rewarded ad gives you three hours of reading without ads. This is optional.
5. Network use
The app uses the internet in exactly two situations:
- loading ads (AdMob)
- connecting to a public e-book catalogue (OPDS) whose address you entered yourself. That connection goes to the catalogue you chose, not to the developer. Only HTTPS addresses are accepted.
Everything else — reading, text-to-speech, annotations, backup — works offline.
6. Children
This app is not directed primarily at children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the date above is updated and significant changes are announced in the app.
